Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Bingo web apps at landofbingo.com (including game, viewer, checker, and manage) and the Bingo Viewer apps for Android TV, Fire OS, Apple TV, and Roku (together, the “Services”).
The Services are operated by LandForge Technology LLC (“LandForge,” “we,” “us”). No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment card to play.
Who this is for
Bingo is a general-audience hall tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and think a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it. Do not use Keri Mode (camera) around anyone who has not agreed to appear on the stream.
What we collect
- Room codes — A 4-character code joins a game. Codes are meant to be shouted across a room and typed on a TV. Anyone with a live code can join as a viewer. Treat the code like a temporary password.
- Connection data — Game updates travel peer-to-peer (WebRTC), with signaling through our API (
api.landofbingo.com) and PeerJS (0.peerjs.com). That path includes IP addresses, peer IDs, and the metadata needed to connect you. Other people in the same room can see network information such as your public IP, because there is no TURN relay hiding it. We may keep IP and peer ID with the room while it is active, and for a short period after, so the game works and so we can limit abuse. - Room and viewer logs — The host tools and API may record that a room started, that a viewer or checker connected, and basic technical details (including IP and peer ID). This is operations and abuse-prevention data, not a marketing profile.
- Keri Mode (optional, host) — If the host turns on Keri Mode, the host device camera is sent live to Viewer screens that have the room code (web and TV apps). Checkers do not get that video. We do not keep a copy of the Keri stream on our servers. Anyone with the code can watch. Turn it off, or end the room, to stop the camera.
- Voice (optional) — Viewer can play calls using on-device text-to-speech or audio fetched from
api.landofbingo.com. We do not ask for your microphone, and we do not keep voice recordings of players. Generated call audio is produced to play the numbers, not to identify you. - Card scan (optional) — If you use card check or scan features, the image or card data is sent to our API so we can read the card. Use this only on cards you are allowed to scan. We use the image to complete the check, not for advertising.
- Local storage — Bingo Viewer may remember the last room code on the device so you can rejoin. Clear it by deleting the app’s data in device settings. The website may use ordinary browser storage for the same kind of session convenience.
- Hosting logs — Vercel, which hosts the site and API, automatically logs standard request data (IP address, user agent, pages or endpoints hit). That is normal for any website.
- Analytics — The website uses GoatCounter (
bingo.goatcounter.com) and Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and feature usage. These are first-party style analytics (no ad network, no cross-site advertising ID). They can still see technical data such as IP, referrer, browser, and rough location. The TV apps do not include these website analytics scripts. We do not use advertising identifiers in Bingo Viewer.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not require an account or contact details to play.
- TV apps do not use your contacts. They do not use the microphone. The camera is used only if a host enables Keri Mode on a host device.
Who else sees data
- Other people in your room — Callers, viewers, and (for game state) checkers share the session. With Keri on, viewers see the host camera. Peers may see IPs.
- LandForge / our API and database — Signaling, room state, optional TTS, optional card scan, and operational logs. Database hosting is Neon (Postgres), in the United States.
- Vercel — Hosting, HTTPS, server logs, and Web Analytics.
- GoatCounter — Website page-view counts.
- PeerJS (0.peerjs.com) — WebRTC peer matching and signaling assistance.
- Buy Me a Coffee — If you tap Supporter, you leave our site. Their privacy policy applies to anything you do there.
We use these parties to run the Services, not to sell a list of players. Some sit outside your country (including the United States). If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the legal bases we rely on are performing the game you asked for (room join, calls, optional scan or Keri), our legitimate interests in keeping the service up and stopping abuse, and consent where a camera or optional feature needs it.
How long we keep it
Room codes and live connection records last for the session and a short operational tail (so a TV can rejoin and so we can rate-limit guessers). Hosting and analytics logs last as long as those vendors keep standard logs. We do not keep Keri video. Card-scan images are processed to finish the check and are not kept as a photo library. If you want a specific record deleted sooner, ask us.
Your choices and rights
You can skip Keri, skip card scan, skip voice, and stop using a room by leaving it or closing the app. You can block analytics in your browser (or with a content blocker). You can clear a saved room code in app or site storage.
Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states, the EEA, and the UK), you may have the right to know what we have, correct it, delete it, export a copy, or opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share for ads). To make a request, use the contact below. We will not discriminate against you for asking. If we refuse, you can appeal by writing back and saying you appeal.
We do not respond to do-not-track browser signals as a separate channel, because we do not run ad retargeting. A global privacy control or analytics blocker is the practical opt-out for measurement.
Security
We use HTTPS and limit what the server stores compared with a typical account product. A 4-character room code is guessable on purpose. Do not say anything on Keri, and do not display anything on camera, that you would not show a stranger who walked into the hall.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Keep using the Services only if you can live with the current version.
